가로 확장률: θ (정거도법)
특징: 평면이 아닌 원통에 투사한 도법이다. 지평선이 가운데에 있을 때 시점을 좌우로 회전해도 모양이 변하지 않는다.
6. 투시원통도법 (심사원통도법, 파노라마)
세로 확장률: tanθ (투시도법)
7. 메르카토르 도법
세로 확장률: ln(tan(π/4+θ/2)) (시컨트 적분)
특징: 항정선을 그리기 용이하다.
8. 평사원통도법 (브라운 평사도법)
세로 확장률: 2·tan(θ/2) (평사도법)
9. 정거원통도법
세로 확장률: θ (정거도법)
10. 정사원통도법 (람베르트 정적원통도법)
세로 확장률: sinθ (정사도법).

Properties: Same with perspective projection which the viewer is infinitely far and zoom infinitely in.
6~10. Cylindrical Projection
Horizontal Extension Rate: θ (Equidistant)
Properties: Projected on a cylinder instead of a plane. When horizon is at center, horizontal move of view angle does not change shape.
6. Panoramic Projection (Central Cylindrical Projection)
Vertical Extension Rate: tanθ (Perspective)
7. Mercator Projection
Vertical Extension Rate: ln(tan(π/4+θ/2)) (Integral of the secant)
Properties: Easy to draw rhumb line.
8. Braun Stereographic Projection
Vertical Extension Rate: 2·tan(θ/2) (Stereographic)
9. Equirectangular Projection
Vertical Extension Rate: θ (Equidistant)
10. Lambert Cylindrical Equal-Area Projection
Vertical Extension Rate: sinθ (Orthographic)
